Vlog Talk 6.7.11

This is my first vlog in the Vlog Talk meme brought to you by Jessica at My Time as Mom, Elena at Mommy is in Timeout, and Kate from Mommy Monologues.

Every week they give a few prompts for your vlog. One of this weeks was: A toy your child(ren) play with that drives you up the wall and why.

  1. I love your accent!

My husband loves video games & I'm always telling him that when the kiddo gets older he better spend less time on there because I am not going to like the kiddo playing video games as much as his daddy does!

Just read your about me page! A 3rd baby! YAY! And due soon! Congrats!

  2. I am happy my kids are still not into video games, yet. I know it will happen sooner or later, but so far we are safe.

Great vlog! Set up the sprinkler and shove 'em outside :)

  3. My nephews are really into video games, so I hear ya! I'm guessing that is the next step for my kids. ;)

  4. Thankfully my kids are not into video games but they are addicted to TV. My oldest asks to watch it all the time. Drives me crazy.

Thanks for joining us this week!

  5. Kate- Aw shucks! Thanks! =)

Amy, Elena- You guys are so lucky! I wish I'd never purchased the first handheld game!

Jessica-Luckily, I have the lockdown on the TV. The kids and I can usually agree on what we're watching. The husband... not so much. He's all wrestling and NBA. Boo...

  6. Oh my goodness, my oldest is obsessed with video games! It drives me crazy! Great vlog and I LOVE your accent!

  7. Ok, so first I am going to echo everyone else in saying- I LOVE your accent.

Secondly, my son is only 4.5 and already begs to play video games. It is so sad. I know what you mean about wishing they would play outside and get fresh air. technology is taking over...

  8. Your accent? Adorable!

Video games? Annoying. Very, very annoying.

    Loved this!

  9. Oh yes, video games! I love and hate em!

Sean, fav is Guitar Hero played as loud as he can get away with.

I too played mostly outside as a kid even though I had a atarri (sp?). It also meant lots of kids came to play at my house. That and my trampoline. =)
