Back to the Grind...

It's not much of a grind really though.  We didn't have too much to do today so I brought the kids to the park.  It's a beautiful day so far.  I think we have a chance for showers later, but right now the temps are low(-ish) and the humidity isn't too bad.  I left the cleaning and laundry behind in exchange for the children's laughter and some books.  When we are done here, I'm going to take the kids to the library.  They don't know it and I'm sure they will be excited.  They both love to read.  I've been promising to take them since school got out, but haven't gotten around to going.  No time like the presents right.  Plus I had to come to town to pay the water bill that I forgot to pay before leaving for vacation.  Later this week I've got to help my mom move some stuff to her new apartment here in town.  I'm going to make it a round trip and take Queen Bee some clothes from Georgia.

I didn't even write a post about the great time we had on the 4th with Rubi.  It was nice to get out and be with friends.  I didn't know most of the people... :)  The kids had a great time playing, running, and singing.  Good times were had by all and I'm absolutely postitive that Rubi's step-dad was smiling down and enjoying every minute of it as well.

It's not the best quality video (I took it with my camera), but these girls were rocking it out!
